What to order
Why go
This is one of the old-guard rooms of San Pedro, and the name — "the house of the good table" — is a fair description. The menu is the widest in town: cazuela, grilled trout, llama, pastas, salads and a proper vegetarian plate, with Chilean wine poured by the glass. On cold nights the room is genuinely warm, which matters more here than visitors expect.
It is the room we send mixed groups to: one person wants trout, one wants a cazuela, one is vegetarian and one just wants a glass of Carmenère — everyone leaves happy. Book for dinner in high season; at lunch it doubles as a civilised refuel after the Pukará de Quitor trail. Mains run US$ 14–25 (≈ CLP 13,700–24,400), and glass pours start around CLP 5,000. For a bigger, louder night, Adobe is the classic alternative.
Good to know
Payment: cards fine; tips (propina) of about 10% are usually added on request.
Reservations: recommended for dinner in high season; lunch is usually walk-in.
Crowds: relaxed at dinner, family-friendly at lunch.
The menu is long — ask what is actually fresh before committing to fish.
